Description

This is an injection-plastic ship model kit.

The destroyer Atago was commissioned in March 2008 as the second-generation Aegis ship of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force, following the Kongo class. In 2016, she was also given ballistic missile defense capability (BMD). She is currently assigned to the 3rd Escort Group, which has Maizuru as its permanent port.

This 1/700-scale model kit from Pit-Road can be built as a full-hull or waterline model; parts are included for the recently added AN/SPQ-9B radar and more. The decals reproduce the all-white helicopter landing sign, and the walking zone in front of the low visibility area. An SH-60K anti-submarine helicopter is included, as are photo-etched parts for the flag, flagpole, and ship nameplate. Order yours today!

  • [Size]: Approximately 23.6cm long when completed
  • [Includes]: Photo-etched parts, decals
